Relief Form

We were asked to make a 'Cara Barer' recycled book art piece. She got this idea from a yellow pages magazine that she saw in a puddle on the floor. This encouraged her to make a piece of art using old books and magazines to make this form out of glue and paperclips. We made this by folding and curling up double and single pages, paperclipping them together, then carefully glueing it together to produce this art. I think this is a very unusual piece of work inspired by the natural world. My piece links with Car Barer because it has the same reason (yellow pages) and it is made by using the same method. I am proud of my piece and how it is photographed in these pictures, I think it makes the 'yellow pages' form stand out and capture the audience from the swirling and curves of my artwork.
